1.0 Right To Cancel 

1.1 As we are selling all across the country there are certain rights you, the customer, has in regards to cancellation.  

  • From the moment you place an order you can cancel it for free before it is shipped, no questions asked.
  • If an item has already been dispatched you will be charged the shipping cost outbound (it’s costs us even though its free!) and the cost of return shipping.
  • Once received, you have 30 days to decide if you want to keep the item. If you do not, you can return it by notifying us first. Please note however that you have to pay the shipping return and there will be a 20% restocking fee to cover the outbound shipping costs.
  • It is very important that returns are packed with just as much care and love as we send them to you. Any items damaged in transit by improper packaging will not be refunded.

2.0 Pre-orders of deposit and out of stock items

2.1 We don't generally sell out of stock items, most items on our site are live inventory. Should somehow something be sold that is out of stock, we will offer a full refund. if you are willing to wait for our Addicts to find you a similar item, we will only take a small deposit.

2.2 Very rarely, we may sell a pre-order item. This may be an item that is not yet at our warehouse but is on the way. We will normally have an approximate lead time for this item.  In cases of pre-order items you will normally (but not always) be given the choice of paying a deposit or the full item amount.


3.0 Advertised Lead Times

3.1 Where we sell any out of stock or pre-order items we will do our best to provide an accurate lead time based on the information we have. There are always times that events and matters outside of our control (delays in shipping, bad weather etc) that may lead to changes in that information.


4.0 Warranty

4.1 We sell vintage, rare and almost always used items. We therefore provide no warranty on anything that we sell. We do however stand by what we sell and are willing to negotiate if you feel an item is to be considered 'not as described'. Generally however it is worth noting that it is the customer's responsibility for asking the questions before purchase and we try to list most things in the listings. The ability to view items is also possible and this is something to be recommended, additional pictures are also available upon request.


5.0 Delivery

5.1 Most of our smaller items will be shipped by parcel service, disassembled and packed professionally. We will ship parcels on a signature required service and cannot be held accountable for missed deliveries and associated re-delivery costs.

5.2 Important - In the case of larger items shipped by freight or blanket wrap service we recommend 2 people are present to receive delivery.  The shipping company will call in most cases to arrange convenient delivery. For freight delivery will be by pallet or skid and delivered only to the curb side, not inside your home. A dispatcher will call and arrange a 2-4 hour window with you where you must be available, any missed deliveries will likely result in a redelivery fee. Please note that although many of the drivers are very helpful, their contract is to get the items to the curb side and no further and is by discretion. If you are looking for a more personal service we can offer blanket wrap services on request which you will be contacted by the driver directly who arranges delivery. White glove service may also be available but are not guaranteed and are on a quote by quote basis.

5.3 It is very important you check the goods on arrival wherever possible. Any shipping company will not approve a claim for damage if the delivery sheet is signed clear. If a courier does not give you time to check your goods please sign the sheet as UNCHECKED. At the very least any transport damage must be reported within 7 days but the chance of a successful claim are very low. Please note that this refers shipping damage only and does not affect any warranty issue & or product fault.

5.4 Important – If you reside outside of the USA there may be an import tax or custom duties payable by the customer to the local government. Please be aware we do not take any responsibility for these costs and they are NOT included in shipping, it is tax levied by local government or customs and we do not know what these charges may be.

5.5 Notification of items damaged during shipping must be made within 48 hours of receipt.

5.6 Refusal of a correct delivery is still charged. This means if this delivery is returned to us by the shipping company the charges for this are also the responsibility of the customer and we will deduct from any refund if an order is cancelled without consent after shipping. See section 1.0.

5.7 With freight and blanket wrap deliveries it is very important not to miss the scheduled delivery because re delivery fees can be expensive and will be the responsibility of the customer.

5.8 Transit Times:

Small Parcels Max Delivery Time - 2 to 6 Days

Large Parcels Max Delivery Time - 2 to 6 Days

Pallet Freight Max Delivery Time - 2 to 8 Days

Blanket Wrap Delivery is on request and subject to availability

6.0 Website

6.1 We reserve the right to cancel, at any time, special offers, discount coupons and promotions

6.2 Should an error within the design of the website cause the web cart to be lower than the advertised sale price or delivery price of the chosen products, we reserve the right to cancel and refund the transaction.

6.3 Images represent our actual products. Even with those, it is still not possible to capture every individual characteristic of a vintage or antique furniture item, viewing is always recommended. We therefore accept no responsibility that our images are defining of all the characters of the item and additional information or condition reports are available on request.


7.0 Purchase Terms Acceptance

7.1 by clicking on buy now, pre-order item now, ordering over the telephone or direct via PayPal you enter into agreement of our terms and conditions as given both above, please read them carefully.


8.0 Refunds & Returns

8.1 Returns

Should you return an item it is important to point out that it must reach us in the same condition which it was received. Any damage due to improper or careless packaging will not be accepted or refunded and will remain the property of the customer.

8.2 Refunds (if applicable)

Once your item is returned, you can expect your refund to be processed within 7 working days. Refunds are always reversed from the original payment method.

8.3 Exchanges (if applicable)

Due to the nature of the vintage items we sell, exchanges are highly unlikely although not impossible. As part of a return we may be able to agree to replace the returned item with something of the same cold, whether identical or not.

8.4 Return Shipping

To return your product, you should email us for the return address and instructions. There will be a 20% restocking fee on returns of small items to cover outbound shipping, unless otherwise informed or stated. Freight or blanket wrapped items will be billed at actual cost.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund if applicable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are returning an item yourself, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and insurance on returns will be the responsibility of the customer in the event of any attempts at a claim.

8.5 Local Sales 

All sales locally collected by the end user are not covered under the usual return policy, if an item has been viewed, inspected and taken away then sales in this instance will be final. As the items have been inspected at the time of purchase and a price agreed the terms are 'sold as seen'.

9.0 Payment

9.1 Payment may be made via the website at time of ordering or over the phone. 

9.2 Payments may be made via bank transfer or by personal/business cheque with approval. Please note that all funds must be fully cleared before items will ship.

10.0 Sales Tax

10.1 Any items collected from our warehouse or shipped within the state of Illinois will liable for sales tax and it will additional to any prices advertised. Sales tax will be added automatically at checkout for any Illinois customers.
