Eames for Herman Miller Time Life Walnut Stool Version C
What is it?
The Eames Time Life Stools were based on stools designed by Ray Eames and used with the similarly named Time Life Lobby chair a specially commissioned range built for the Time Life Building in Manhattan, New York in the 1960's. They are made from solid Walnut and can be used as both a side table or a stool, their chess like appearance has made them a firm favorite for collectors. There was originally 4 stool designs made for the Time Life building but only 3 were put on sale to the general public they are known as A, B & C.
What's special about this one?
This is Eames Walnut Stool Version C. It's a newer production made up of three parts with joins separating the top, base and central shaped area and also features a dowel piece running throughout. Condition as good as new with no marks, scratches, scuffs or any other blemish of note. The Eames stool is not produced with any labels.
